From Jakarta
Sriwijaya Air and Riau Airlines fly daily to Tanjung Pinang (Bintan). Taxi transfer from Raja Haji Fisibilillah (RHF) Airport to the Bintan Resorts takes 45-60 minutes and cost SGD 65. Participants from outside Indonesia are advised to travel via Singapore. 

 

From Singapore
Bintan is accessible via a 55-minute ride on a high speed catamaran from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Be at the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal for check-in 1.5 hours before departure time.  

Below is a list of important information to ensure a smooth journey to Bintan Island. 

If you are not residing in Singapore, and plan to connect your flight arriving in Singapore with your ferry for Bintan we recommend you allow at least 3 hours connecting time. 

 

IMPORTANT!  Bintan is one hour behind Singapore! Example 1: Ferry departure time from Singapore is 8am - travel time is 55 minutes - ferry arrival time in Bintan is 7.55am. Example 2: Ferry departure time from Bintan is 4.30pm - travel time is 55 minutes - ferry arrival time in Singapore is 6.25pm.

 

Visas
International passports must be valid for at least six months from the date of arrival. A Visa-On-Arrival (VOA) for Indonesia is required for some nationalities. Please ensure that you have one full page available for the Indonesian Immigration Visa.

Discounted VOA at USD10 per person will only be possible with a group of 4 persons each.
