GETTING THERE

Via Singapore
Bintan is an Indonesian island easily accessible via Singapore on a 50-minute high-speed ferry catamaran.

This is a 10-minute taxi ride from Singapore’s Changi International Airport. Maxi Taxis are available at the airport that easily fit your luggage and bike box.

Arrive at least 90-minutes prior to ferry departure at the ferry terminal.

  • Ferry Booking & Bike Slot

You can book your ferry ticket and ferry bike slot in one easy registration process.

Bike slots are limited for each ferry and need to be booked in advance. The fee per bike is S$20 (for both ways) and is payable upon booking.

Ensure your passport is valid for a minimum of 6 months and has a blank page for immigration stamps or visa stickers. VISA and other travel information for international travelers

  • Transfer to and from Hotel

The hosting resort, Nirwana Gardens, is only a 10-minute comfortable coach ride (around 8km) from the Bintan ferry terminal.

Nirwana Gardens and other official partner hotels will arrange for your transfers. Ensure you let your hotel know your ferry itinerary

 Official Partner hotels also provide shuttle services to the race venue at Nirwana Gardens.

Note: if you are travelling through Changi International Airport, Maxi Taxis are available at the airport to fit your luggage and your bike box and take you to the ferry terminal.
Direct Travel from Jakarta

Direct domestic flights from Jakarta to Bintan:

Jakarta (Soekarno Hatta) to Tanjung Pinang (kijang) by Garuda Indonesia, Sriwijaya Airlines, Lion Air and Batavia Air.

Be sure to ask the airline about any additional costs for transferring your bike and any specific parking requirements.

On arrival at Tanjung Pinang, transfer from Raja Haji Fisibilillah (RHF) Airport to the race venue at Nirwana Gardens Resort takes 45-60 minutes. Transport for yourself and your bike can be organised by your hotel or official travel agent.

Direct Travel from Batam

To get from Batam, Indonesia to Bintan Resorts, visitors may take a regular speed boat from Telaga Punggur, Batam to Tanjung Uban Ferry Terminal in Bintan followed by land transfer to Bintan Resorts.

2-way land transfer from Tanjung Uban to Bintan Resorts may be arranged with BRC Tours at a charge.

Land transfer from Hang Nadim Airport, Batam to Telaga Punggur, Batam may also be arranged.

International travel from Johor Bahru, Malaysia

A direct ferry from Johor Bahru, Malaysia to Bintan Island is available.

It departs from the Zon – Stulang Laut International Ferry Terminal and arrives at Tanjung Pinang Sri Bintan Pura Ferry Terminal. Duration: 165 minutes.

On arrival in Tanjung Pinang, taxi transfer from Raja Haji Fisibilillah (RHF) Airport to the race venue at Nirwana Gardens takes around 45-60 minutes.

Passport Validity and Visas

International passports must be valid for at least six months from the date of arrival in Bintan, Indonesia.
